Our Approach

1

Identify Needs

We lead conversations that clearly identify (1) your desire for change, (2) the scope of the change you want to achieve, and (3) your capacity to execute these changes effectively.

2

Personalised suggestions

We create a comprehensive proposal that acts as a guide for implementing changes and updates to operations, policies, and procedures.

3

The real work begins.

We provide ongoing, long-term support and guidance as you implement the necessary actions to achieve the goals identified during the process.

We want to support you.

What we do.

We work with small groups and individuals, primarily Boards and Executive or C-Suite leaders, to develop anti-racist, inclusive, and trauma-informed leadership teams. We value the partnership with these individuals, as it is integral to creating an approach that holds decision-makers as those responsible for their organisation’s internal justice work and culture.

Our work with these groups and individuals is aimed at empowering mission-driven organizations. We facilitate a systematic redesign of their organisation, leveraging real-world experience and data-driven insight. This approach promotes meaningful, measurable, and longstanding change, giving these organisations the power to make a difference.

Our approach is not just about change, but also about accountability. We cultivate long-range consulting relationships that provide a more profound, personalised, and nuanced space to process and understand. For those who wish to pursue a more social justice-minded approach to their leadership, we offer a clear path and support.

FAQs

Can we have Wild Iris conduct a two-hour “DE&I” training?

At Wild Iris, we believe that the work of leadership & organisational development requires dedication and commitment to the entire process of this work; we rarely, if ever, interact with organisations on a transactional “DE&I 101”-type basis. We know transformational work takes time and investment; we rarely engage in single-event training that do not include the wide breadth of the work that it takes to have a truly trauma-informed organisation.

Do you only work with corporate organizations?

Not exclusively. While Wild Iris works with corporate clients; Vashti’s passion and experience in nonprofit organizations and in the mental health field has influenced our work with non-corporate agencies and organizations.

What are the fees for your services?

We work with organizations of various sizes with a range of needs, we work out fees on a case-by-case basis.
